Split System Installation

What’s involved in a split system air conditioning installation?

We highly recommend Fujitsu split system air conditioning units, which come with a 5-year warranty.
Installation can take about 4 hours, depending on placement/location of the system and wiring.
Installation steps:
- A split system install first step is to mount the indoor unit.
- Preferable locations are on the perimeter wall of the house or mounted on an adjacent wall but mounted hard against perimeter wall.
- Drill through the interior wall to exterior for pipes and drain.
- Mount indoor unit.
- Run pipes and drain to exterior unit (preferable straight down from hole drilled from indoor unit – back to back install).
- Connect power to switch board and outdoor unit.

Quotes and Bookings

If systems are being installed back to back, we can usually provide a quote over the phone. However, if further details are needed, we will have to come out and provide and onsite quote.

The initial quote and booking to a job being completed can vary depending on what is involved. Quoting a job can either be over the phone or at time of enquiry, otherwise onsite quotes are generally between 1 – 2 days. Bookings can usually be made between 3 – 7 business days from time of approval.
