Cameron Armitage

Cameron has been working as an electrician in south-east Queensland for more than a decade.

In 2016, he made the leap and started his own company, Armitage Electrical. He always strives to deliver electrical services to the highest standard and is an honest and trustworthy tradesman.

  • What’s your favourite part of the job?  Love meeting new people and building long lasting relationships with them.
  • What is your funniest memory/story while on the tools?  Bryce was climbing high on a ladder and took a look down to the ground and his legs started to shake uncontrollably.
  • Where were your born?  Ipswich
  • What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekend?  I have a yz450f dirt bike I love to take to local motor cross parks on the weekends.
  • Where is the best spot for a coffee or a beer Brisbane?  Told You So in North Lakes for a coffee.

Sam Roberts

Born in the UK and having held electrical licences in the Hong Kong and the Channel Islands (just off France), Sam has been part of the Armitage team since August 2022.

  • Craziest thing I’ve had to do while on the job? We needed to repair power on a large cargo vessel in the Hong Kong harbour in dead of night. I had to climb a 30m rope ladder in pitch black to board. I can’t swim.
  • Favourite part of the job? I get a lot of fulfilment from assisting customers and delivering what they want. I love that our industry continually evolves.
  • Best tip? Leave it to a professional.
  • Favourite thing to do on weekend? Hitting the road. I never tire of enjoying our coastline.

Cameron has completed a number of jobs for me at an old property I have just purchased which needed a number of electrical items checked and fixed. Installation of fans, exterior and interior lights, new power points etc. I felt completely comfortable to give Cameron access to the home without me being there.
