Aircon cleaning on Brisbane’s northside

Every bit of air your aircon cools gets pulled through its coil and fan. Over time those parts get coated in dust, grime and mould, and that’s what gets blown back into the room. We chemically clean split systems and residential ducted units of any brand across Brisbane’s northside and Moreton Bay.

Book a clean – takes about 2 minutes

Signs your aircon needs a clean

  • A musty or mouldy smell when it starts up
  • Black spots on the fan or louvres
  • Water dripping from the indoor unit
  • It’s not cooling or heating like it used to
  • It hasn’t been cleaned in over a year

Our cleaning options

Split system chemical clean (bag wash)

Our standard clean, done on the wall. We fit a wash bag around the indoor unit so nothing ends up on your walls or floor, then chemically wash the parts that matter most: the coil, the fan barrel and the drain. We also:

  • Clean the filters
  • Chemically wash the outdoor unit
  • Replace the remote batteries
  • Test the system before we leave

Deep clean (full strip)

For very dirty units, or ones that haven’t been cleaned in two years or more. We strip the indoor unit down so the coil, fan barrel and drain tray can be properly cleaned, not just washed through. It includes:

  • Full strip clean of the filters, coil and fan barrel
  • Chemical clean of the coil and drain tray
  • Blocked drains cleared with a vacuum or pressure flush
  • Outdoor unit clean: coil, fan and cabinet
  • Remote batteries replaced
  • Electrical inspection and performance test

Not sure which one you need? Send us a photo with the front cover lifted and we’ll tell you.

Ducted system clean and service

For residential ducted systems. It includes:

  • A chemical wash of the outdoor unit
  • Return air filters cleaned or replaced
  • Every zone checked for correct operation
  • Condensate pump and emergency drain checked
  • An overall check of how efficiently the system is running

We don’t clean inside the ductwork itself.

More than one split system?

Every extra unit we clean on the same visit is discounted, so it’s worth doing the whole house at once.

How often should you clean your aircon?

Every six months is ideal. An easy reminder is to book one each time the season flips from hot to cold, and back again. At the very least, get it done once a year, before summer, when your aircon is about to work its hardest.

What’s not included

Regassing, parts and repairs aren’t part of a clean. If we find a problem, we’ll show you and quote it before doing anything extra.

Aircon cleaning FAQs

How long does it take?
Allow about an hour for the first split system and a bit less for each extra one. A deep clean or a ducted service takes longer.

Will it make a mess?
No. The wash bag catches the water and grime from the indoor unit, and we clean up before we leave.

Can I just clean the filters myself?
Yes, and you should rinse them every few weeks when the aircon is working hard. But the filters only catch the big stuff. The coil, fan barrel and drain behind them still need a proper clean.

Do you clean all brands?
Yes. We clean any brand of split system and residential ducted unit.
